Graduate Student Experience: Oscar Lemus

1st year PhD student in CCS & HCI/D

Ever since arriving at the School of Informatics and Computing, the faculty, staff, and students have made me feel extremely welcomed. This is a place where the concept of community is fostered at every level of personal and academic interaction. Aside from all the amazing research going on in the CCS track (seriously, check out the faculty links), what I love the most about CCS is the people! You will not find a more tight-knit group of students and faculty that supports each other in every aspect of academic and non academic life, this is a place where everyone truly cares for one another and seeks to better each other. Coming to this school was certainly the best choice!
